Official Rules

1. Sponsors

This promotion is sponsored jointly by Select Outdoor Solutions, LLC ("SOS") and Tulsa Home Shows ("THS") (collectively, "Sponsors"), both of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The promotion website is TheBackyardBonanza.com.

 

2. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the State of Oklahoma who are 21 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Additional homeowner and service-area requirements apply to the Platinum, Gold, and Silver prizes (see Sections 6 and 11). Employees, officers, contractors, subcontractors, and immediate family or household members of either Sponsor, of any participating material supplier or prize sponsor, or of any exhibitor donating a prize are not eligible. Void where prohibited.

 

3. Entry Period

Online pre-registration opens October 1, 2026 and closes at 11:59 p.m. Central Time on Thursday, November 5, 2026. Entry scanning at the Fall Home Expo is open during all show hours November 6–8, 2026, and closes at 1:00 p.m. Central Time on Sunday, November 8, 2026 (the "Entry Cutoff").

 

4. How to Enter

Entry is free and takes place at the Fall Home Expo by scanning QR codes with your own phone. There are three steps:

(a) Pre-register (optional but recommended). Pre-register at TheBackyardBonanza.com by 11:59 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2026. Your cell phone number is your entry code, and pre-registering makes every prize entry you earn count triple (3x). Pre-registration alone does not enter you in any drawing.

(b) Lobby registration (required). At the show, scan the entry QR code in the lobby and complete the lobby registration form, using the same cell phone number you pre-registered with. This activates your entries. If you did not pre-register, the lobby registration registers you on the spot and your entries count 1x. The lobby registration may be completed before or after booth scans, but it must be completed before the Entry Cutoff. Booth scans by anyone who has not completed a lobby registration by the Entry Cutoff do not count.

(c) Booth scans. Scan the QR code at any prize sponsor’s booth to enter that prize’s drawing. Enter as many prize drawings as you like — one entry per person per prize.

At registration you must provide your name, cell phone number, and email address; confirm you are 21 or older; indicate whether you own your home; and provide your ZIP code. Homeowners must also provide their street address. This information determines eligibility for the Platinum, Gold, and Silver prizes and is used to apply the one-prize-per-household limit (Section 10). Providing false information voids all entries and any prize.

 

5. Entries and Weighting

Each prize is a separate drawing. Scanning a prize sponsor’s booth places you in that prize’s pool once. The weight of that entry is:
 Entries are identified and de-duplicated by cell phone number (email is a secondary check). One entry per person per prize; scanning the same sponsor’s booth more than once does not add entries. Scans may be completed in any order during the show. Entries are scored after the Entry Cutoff; no running entry totals are displayed during the promotion. Multiple eligible adults in the same household may each register and enter.

 

6. Prizes

The promotion will award up to nine (9) prizes in four tiers:
 
Prizes are announced at TheBackyardBonanza.com as prize sponsors are confirmed. Any prize position not secured before the drawings will not be awarded. All values are approximate and represent the providing party’s stated fair market value.

Eligibility by prize tier. The Platinum, Gold, and Silver prizes (the "Top Three Prizes") are installed at, or require major delivery to, the winner’s residence. Accordingly, only homeowners whose residence is within the service area (Section 11(b)) are eligible to win a Top Three Prize, and those drawings are conducted only from the pool of eligible homeowners. Bronze prizes are open to all eligible registrants, homeowner or renter. No prize has any cash value and no cash alternative is offered for any prize.

 

7. Drawing Schedule

All prizes are drawn on Sunday, November 8, 2026, beginning at approximately 2:00 p.m., in ascending value, with the Platinum pergola drawn last:

8. Notification and Claim

Entrants do not need to remain at the drawing. Winners are contacted by telephone call and text message at the cell number on their entry. To claim, a contacted winner must respond and present themselves at the prize claim desk at the Fall Home Expo within thirty (30) minutes of notification and must meet all qualifications in Section 15. Because claiming requires reaching the claim desk within 30 minutes, entrants should be at or near Expo Square on Sunday afternoon.

 

 

9. Drawing Procedure

The same procedure applies to every prize:

(a) For each prize, one entry is drawn at random from that prize’s eligible pool, weighted by entry count. Top Three Prize pools include only eligible homeowners in the service area. Entrants from any household that has already won a prize are excluded.

(b) The drawn entrant is notified by call and text and has thirty (30) minutes to reach the prize claim desk and qualify. Sponsors verify identity, age (21+), household, and — for a Top Three Prize — homeownership within the service area.

(c) If the first drawn entrant does not claim and qualify within the window, a second entry is drawn from the same pool and notified with the same 30-minute window.

(d) If the second drawn entrant also does not claim and qualify, the prize returns to its provider and is not awarded. No prize is held for or carried over to a future event.

(e) Prizes are drawn and awarded one at a time, in ascending order, ending with the Platinum Grand Prize.

 

 

10. One Prize Per Household

No more than one prize will be awarded per household. A "household" means all persons residing at the same residential address. Once any entrant is confirmed as a prize winner, all entrants from that household are removed from all remaining drawings. Household is verified by the street address provided at registration (homeowners) and by the address on the winner’s photo identification at claim.

 

 

11. Top Three Prize Conditions

The following conditions apply to the Platinum, Gold, and Silver prizes:

(a) Only homeowners are eligible. The winner must own the residence at which the prize is to be installed or delivered and must attest to ownership at the time of claim. A registrant who has not identified as a homeowner is not eligible and will not be drawn for a Top Three Prize.

(b) The residence must be located within the service area, defined by the following list of eligible ZIP codes, also published at TheBackyardBonanza.com: 74008, 74011, 74012, 74014, 74015, 74017, 74019, 74021, 74033, 74037, 74039, 74041, 74047, 74050, 74055, 74063, 74066, 74067, 74070, 74073, 74103, 74104, 74105, 74106, 74107, 74108, 74110, 74112, 74114, 74115, 74116, 74117, 74119, 74120, 74126, 74127, 74128, 74129, 74130, 74131, 74132, 74133, 74134, 74135, 74136, 74137, 74145, 74146, 74429.

(c) For installed prizes, the installation site must be level, prepared, and accessible to standard installation equipment, as determined by the installing party in its sole discretion. Winner is responsible, at winner’s sole expense, for all site preparation, which may include grading, leveling, drainage, removal of existing structures or landscaping, and electrical or other utility connections, and which may involve significant cost depending on the property. Winner may use any qualified contractor and is not required to use a Sponsor. A winner who does not wish to incur these costs may decline the prize without penalty, and Sponsors will proceed under Section 9.

(d) Winner is solely responsible for obtaining all permits and any HOA or architectural review approvals before installation, and for compliance with applicable setback, easement, and zoning requirements. Sponsors bear no responsibility for a winner’s inability to obtain approval.

(e) Installation of the Platinum pergola will be scheduled on a mutually agreeable date and completed on or before December 31, 2026, weather and site conditions permitting. SOS may, at its sole discretion, extend this deadline where weather or site conditions prevent timely installation. Winner’s failure to prepare the site or obtain approvals within this window may result in forfeiture at Sponsors’ discretion.

(f) For the Gold and Silver prizes, delivery, installation, setup, and warranty are the responsibility of the providing prize sponsor as set forth in its prize-sponsor agreement, and Sponsors make no warranty as to those prizes.

(g) No prize is transferable and no prize may be exchanged for cash or cash equivalent.

 

 

12. Bronze Prizes

Bronze prizes are awarded under the procedure in Section 9. Prize descriptions, values, and any redemption conditions are as stated by the providing party. Sponsors make no warranty regarding Bronze prizes.

 

 

13. Registrant Voucher

Every registrant who completes the lobby registration at the Fall Home Expo will receive, by email to the address provided, a $500 voucher from Select Outdoor Solutions, LLC valid toward a new concrete driveway or patio replacement project. The voucher requires a minimum project value of $6,000, is limited to one per household, may not be combined with any other offer, has no cash value, and expires February 28, 2027. The voucher is not a prize, is not part of any drawing, and is provided regardless of drawing results. Pre-registration alone does not qualify for the voucher.

 

 

14. Taxes

All federal, state, and local taxes on any prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. A winner of a prize valued at $600 or more must complete and return IRS Form W-9 before the prize is awarded and will receive IRS Form 1099-MISC reflecting the fair market value of the prize. Failure to provide a completed W-9 within fourteen (14) days of request will result in forfeiture.

 

 

15. Winner Verification

To claim any prize, a winner must, at the time of claim: (i) present valid, unexpired government-issued photo identification; (ii) be 21 years of age or older; (iii) not be a member of a household that has already won a prize; (iv) for a Top Three Prize, attest in writing to homeownership at an address within the service area; and (v) sign an affidavit of eligibility and a liability release. The photo and publicity release is separate and optional; a winner may claim the prize whether or not they agree to it. A winner who does not present photo identification or sign the affidavit and release forfeits the prize, and Sponsors proceed under Section 9.

 

 

16. Publicity

Winners’ first name, last initial, and city may be announced over the public address system and displayed on screen at the drawing. Any further use of a winner’s name, likeness, photograph, or video in advertising or promotional materials is made only with the winner’s consent through the optional photo and publicity release. Winners who grant the release authorize Sponsors’ use of their name, likeness, photographs, video, and city of residence in any medium without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

 

 

17. Privacy and Communications

By entering, entrants consent to the collection, sharing, and use of the information they provide as follows:
 

• THS receives all registrant information to administer the promotion.

 

• SOS (title sponsor) receives the information of registrants who identify as homeowners and may contact them about its products and services. Renter registrations are not shared with SOS.

 

• No other prize sponsor or exhibitor receives any registrant information.

THS will send marketing email about future shows and events only to registrants who check the optional THS opt-in box. Promotional text messages will be sent only to registrants who separately consent to receive them; texts notifying a winner are part of administering the promotion. Every sender provides an independent unsubscribe, and entrants may opt out at any time. Sponsors will not sell registrant information to unaffiliated third parties. The registration forms disclose these recipients at the time of entry.

 

 

18. Drawing Administration

Drawings are conducted using a documented random-selection method. Sponsors may arrange for an independent witness to observe the drawings. The method of selection is available on request.

 

 

19. Odds

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received for each prize and the number of entries attributed to each entrant.

 

 

20. General Conditions

Sponsors may disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, violates these rules, or acts in a disruptive manner. Sponsors may modify, suspend, or terminate this promotion if it becomes technically compromised or otherwise cannot be conducted as intended. Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries, failed scans, or technical failures of any kind. This is a one-time promotion for the 2026 Fall Home Expo and is not a commitment to any future promotion.

 

 

21. Limitation of Liability

By entering, entrants release Sponsors, participating material suppliers, prize sponsors, donating exhibitors, and each of their officers, employees, and agents from any liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in this promotion or from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize.

 

 

22. Governing Law

These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Tulsa County, Oklahoma.

 

23. Winner List

The first names, last initials, and cities of the Platinum, Gold, and Silver winners will be posted at TheBackyardBonanza.com after the promotion ends.
